Learned Helplessness, Imposter syndrome and other correlated issues, like procrastination, feeling stuck and similar are subject of the RTT treatment and often great results are achieved in just one session, sometimes two. For the PTSD and CPTSD I follow a Hypnotherapy Protocol that consists of six , up to two hours long sessions, conducted weekly.
However, I don't favour labelling and boxing human experience of any kind. I believe in the uniqueness of our personalities and that the labels and categories are useful for guidance purposes only. And having said that, if the issues I mentioned could speak to us, this is what we would hear them saying:
"I want, but no matter what I do, I cannot do (or be, or have), it's pointless, it can happen to others, but not me."
"They will find out sooner or later that I'm not that good, not that smart, or that competent etc., therefore I must be perfect, hide, or don't do it at all."
Not that simple to summarise, because it's a network of symptoms that easily changes form, transforms from one problem into another, but often sounds like: I am a ball of emotions that cannot be controlled (the dominant ones are often sadness, hurt, guilt and shame) and I am my number one critic.
